SERP Publish Q4 2024


New Modules:
Inventory Audit: A new Inventory Audit module has been introduced, enabling users to track and verify warehouse inventory. Scan items, assess accuracy percentages, and export data grids for detailed analysis.
Smart Product Pages: The new Smart Product Pages module provides users with the ability to scan QR codes for access to product details, troubleshooting videos, manuals, and related materials.
DOT Upgrades: Enhanced DOT reports provide detailed daily data on technicians and inventory for trucks, offering more comprehensive insights.
Shift System: The new Shift System allows users to input schedules into the warehouse management system, linking them to time and attendance reports for performance tracking.
Service Item: The new Service Item functionality allows users to add specific services to orders and apply charges accordingly, providing a more flexible approach to order management.
HR Dashboard: As part of the Time & Attendance suite of upgrades, the HR Dashboard combines multiple modules into one central place. Users can now add department managers, departments, employee skills, punch types, and holidays here. On top of that, user profiles can now have managers attached to them, as well as a dedicated tab to employees in which a manage manages.

Order Management:
Invalid Icon Indicator: A location indicator icon now highlights invalid addresses in the order management system, allowing users to address and correct errors more efficiently.
Mark All as Lost: The new "Mark All as Lost" button in order management facilitates the bulk designation of items as lost, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Rental Agreement Split: Rental Agreements can now be customized by order type. Users can individually edit and manage descriptions for delivery, pickup, and service orders.
Dispatch Enhancement: The dispatch module has been updated to include a warehouse filter, allowing users to hide main and secondary warehouses in single and bulk map views for improved dispatch management.
Override Receipt: The order receipt address can now be overridden with an HQ address instead of the order's warehouse address.

Reporting:
Maintenance Activity Report: This report provides a quick overview to warehouse managers based on how long an item has been sitting in maintenance for and how long it takes for that piece of equipment to be serviced.
Punch Report: View when a service technician(s) started / ended their shift using the SERP APP.
Par Level Report Update: Enhance your inventory management with the updated Par Level Report, which now allows for filtering by shortage, surplus, or both for more accurate stock control.
Lost Equipment Collections New Filter: The Equipment Threshold filter enables users to sort lost equipment based on a user-defined threshold, enhancing the management of lost equipment.
Lost Filter Added to Current Rental Reports: A new Lost Filter in Current Rentals and Current Rentals by Warehouse Reports helps users track lost equipment more effectively.

Billing:
Lost Equipment Collections Upgrade: Simplify your billing process with the upgraded Lost Equipment Collections feature, which allows you to add lost equipment charges directly to the monthly bill, avoiding manual invoice adjustments.
Waive and Hide PPD Feature: The Waive and Hide PPD feature in the monthly bill review allows users to remove individual PPD items from invoices, reducing unnecessary billing clutter.

Other:
Upload Pictures on SERP APP: Users can now upload pictures through the SERP app to document deliveries, signage, signatures, and other essential order-related information.
Continuous Scanning: Users can now repeatedly scan tags while on camera mode instead of individually.
Hazardous Material Logs for Truck Loading/Unloading: Hazardous Material Logs have been updated to include details on hazardous materials loaded or unloaded, improving accuracy in tracking and auditing.
Warehouse Active Functionality: Warehouses can now be deactivated and excluded from popups and reports, helping to reduce data clutter from inactive locations.
Hide Pricing in Order Management: Users can hide product rates in order management based on a per-customer basis.
Split Order Role Assignment: Split Order action is now tied to the role assignment
Document Upgrades - Folder System: The Master Product, Orders/Order Management, Customers, and Patients now have the documents panel revamped to support folders where users can further organize specific files within their modules.
Lost Equipment Auto-Resolve: Users can now auto-resolve lost equipment collections when the setting is turned on and the lost equipment is picked up on a pickup order. There will also be a warning prompt when users are placing a pickup order for lost equipment.

August Publish 2023 FEATURES



Employee Skills
As part of Dispatch 2.1, skills can now be added to employee profiles, orders, and order management. The skills are customizable and work with Google icons for visuals. Users will now be able to track what orders require specific skills and match them with technicians.

Bulk Map Dispatching
Users will now be able to view/assign multiple orders at once on our new bulk map dispatching module. Users can quickly view orders that need dispatching visually on a map and tech routes as well. 

Next Stop
Notifications added for Ordered By

Notification Descriptions
Descriptions have been added to each notification template for a clear understanding of the purpose of every notification and how to generate them. 

Lost Equipment Filter on MBR
Users are now able to filter for patients with a lost equipment alert.

Lost Equipment Report
A new Lost Equipment Report has been added, which provides a comprehensive list of all lost equipment and the relevant data associated with each item.

Individual Notifications for Ordered By and Caregivers
The notifications for Order Scheduled, Next Stop, and Removed Next Stop are now split into two types – one for Ordered By and one for Caregivers. This provides more control over who will receive a notification.

Customer User Role: Can Order Online
A new customer user role has been added. Customer users can now be granted order creation permissions on an individual basis.

Flight Recorder Upgrades
We have added filters, total metrics, Truck info on the grid, and labeling on the map overlay for users to reference.

Pending Review Activity Report and New Role for Pending Activity Report
Added a new report that displays orders that are marked as reviewed by an employee within a specific date range. Only accessible with the new role Pending Activity Report.

Average Length of Service Report
A new report has been added that will display the average length of time a patient has been on active service. This report is only accessible with the new role “Average Length of Service Report”.

Current Rentals Report Upgrade
Users will now be able to see the total renting days and billing cost of equipment on the report

Customizable Statements for Customers
Similar to being able to select which Invoice PDF is used for a customer, it will now be possible to also select a preferred Statement PDF for each customer.

Orders Tab on Edit/View Customer
A new tab called “Orders” has been added to Edit/View Customer. Internal users will now be able to view all the orders billed to a specific customer with the new Orders tab.

Allow Add Products to Active Orders Role
Users with the role "Allow Add Products to Active Orders" will be able to add products to orders with the status Scheduling, Received and EnRoute.

Printable Checklist of Items to Load
The Checklist of Items to Load on the Truck Dashboard is now printable to make printing physical copies more convenient.

Visual Changes to LPM Fields
Visual changes added to LPM fields in order management, tech app, and litre flow report.

Max Tech work hours setting 
Users are now able to set a default time which the technician will have the start shift on for. After the set time has passed, it will automatically end shift for the technician.

Dispatch changes
Orders have now been separated into two tabs when dispatching an order. The Route tab will represent orders that are scheduled for Today. The All open tab represents any other orders left on the tech not scheduled for today. These changes have been added to the following places:
TECH APP, SELECT TECH POPUP, and SINGLE MAP DISPATCHING

Quick Dispatch change 
On the scheduling popup in order management, the quick dispatch option now allows all warehouses instead of just primary and truck assign tech selection.

NEW FEATURES

We are excited to announce some major features that have been implemented to the system. Here are some of the major highlights:

Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication has been added throughout the system to protect our users from malicious viruses and criminals stealing your information.

When initially logging into the system, users will be prompted to enter a security code in which they can opt out of for 30 days until the system prompts them again. The security code will also show if users log onto a new device in which they will receive the code via email or SMS.

Month Bill Review 2.0 Upgrade
The Monthly Bill Review has been completely revamped and streamlined for billers. Users will be able to quickly view summarized totals, bill alerts, make easier edits, and have more granular filtering.

Product Billing Categories
Users will now be able to organize their equipment into billing type categories in which they will be able to view the summarized totals in the monthly bill review and various reports.

Parts Catalog Module
The Parts Catalog module will allow users to track their miscellaneous items associated with their master products. These items may range from screws, replacement components to caster wheels for wheelchairs in which user then can link to specific master products and select them in the Purchasing, Requisitions, and various Warehouse modules.

Truck 2.0 Upgrades
The Truck system has been visually upgraded and users are now able to quick load / unload products immediately to the truck / off the truck by scanning valid equipment. This allows a user to quick load and unload items. It will show if an item is valid with a green thumbs up button or if it is invalid a red thumbs down button will show.


Web Scanner 
A QR code icon has been added beside Asset Tag filters/fields where users will now be able to access the Web Based Scanner in Asset Search Change, Maintenance Q, Loading items to truck, Exception Research, Product Instances, and my orders.

This allows a user to scan an asset tag on the web which prepopulates the tag into the field for the user to expediate searching/filtering. 


Rescheduled Report 
The Rescheduled Report allows a user to view totals of orders that have been rescheduled. A user can select their desired rescheduled date range for this report. There are also many filters that included in the report such as , Warehouses, Bill-to, Time zone, Rescheduled start/end date, Rescheduled reason and priority type.

Users will also be given the option to export all their information into a CSV for further data manipulation. 

Dispatch Activity Report
Users will now be able to view orders assigned to technicians and their time elapsed between dispatching and re-dispatching orders with our new report.

Customer On-Time Report
The Customer On-Time Report will allow users to view the efficiency of orders that are placed and then completed by technicians within the given scheduled order period.

Users will be able to quickly see the average metrics and totals over a course of months of orders completed in a timely manner.

Dispatch Time
New fields have been added to the Customer and Product page where users can add estimated arrival time buffers and estimated equipment setup time. These fields will be required and will be utilized in our Truck Tracking orders.

PO Price on Products
We have added a PO Price field for Master Products. Creating a PO will now grab the price from the Master Products PO Price when creating a requisition or PO.

Reason For filter

A new filter has been added called Reason For which is located between Critical Notes and Priority Type filters in Order Management. On the drop down it will display different reasons why an order was placed.

CRM Functionality

We are happy to announce that Serious ERP now includes CRM functionality for Vendors, Customers, and Patients.

The CRM functionality on patients will replace the previous patient notes with a rich activity based system.

You can access CRM functionality when you edit vendors, customers, and patients, as well as when you are creating orders, and even in order management.

We have also added the ability to change the Label of the "CRM" for certain pages using the "Patient CRM Label" setting: Order Management (CRM Tab), Edit and View Patient (CRM button and search bar), Order Creation (CRM button and search bar).

New Instances and Kits tabs

New Instances tab added to product masters. Without leaving the edit Master Product page, you are now able to view and query all instances this product has.

The new Kits tab in Edit master product and view master product pages, allows you to quickly see which Product Kits this Master Product is a part of.

With the ability to quickly edit Product kits from this page, this improvement will sure go a long way.

Pricing Tab on Products and Product Kits

A new tab will be visible on Master Products and Product Kits as long as you have the "View Product Pricing Tab" security role assigned to your user account.

This new tab shows the contractual price of this product or kit across the board. This tool will give users the ability to quickly edit the Customer contract that might have a wrong price.

Users with the appropriate security roles will be able to access this tab from the view or edit pages for both Master Products and Product Kits.

Patient force discharge

Enhancements have been made to the brand new Force Discharge functionality which can be found on the patient profile.

Force Discharge allows you to quickly discharge a patient while automatically creating orders to pickup all the equipment this patient has rented.

It is the quickest way there is to discharge a patient. Only available to DMEs (NOT CUSTOMER USERS).
